#19 RON KITCHENER Shaping the Country Music Industry in Canada
I was recently working as the Artist Liaison for CMT Music Fest in Kitchener. Such a great experience overall and the crew felt like family by the end of the week. Anyway, one of the bands performing at the fest was The Road Hammers. I had the pleasure of recently meeting with their manager, Ron Kitchener, at a cafe for a conversation; so I thought it only fitting to share THIS conversation with you next. Ron owns RGK Entertainment Group, which has under it's umbrella, Canada's #1Country Music record company, publishing companies, an online music news source, a touring event planning company, a television development company and another newly created label.Under RGK, a few of the more established artists he currently manages is Tim Hicks, Doc Walker, The Road Hammers, Corb Lund and Blackjack Billy.
